Remember: We are being trained and taught by ... The Redeemer of our souls ... to be like Him so as to be at one with Him.
In Hebraic understanding a Disciple is to serve, to take on the beliefs the attitudes the politics the teachings of their Rabbi and become just like them. So this is with us, we are to be conformed not to our carnal image but the image of the One we serve - The Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore Recall: We are the Disciples He is the Master and or The Rabbi and as disciples we are and will be taught to live by our spirit not by our base nature as we are now delivered from darkness and sealed by His Spirit to enable us to stay dead to sin and its temptations and to live above the carnal base nature.
Now, we possess a greater knowledge of our reason and purpose for being and the reason why we are to live as those that are above and not below as those who live not by the flesh but by The Spirit.
THE GOOD NEWS IS: IT IS NOT BY OUR OWN MIGHT NOR BY OUR OWN POWER BUT BY THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST JESUS INDWELLING IN US TO ENABLE US, TO EQUIP US, TO TRAIN US, TO TEACH US, TO CAUSE OUR HEARTS TO WILL TO DO THE WILL OF THE ONE WHO REDEEMED US.
