Identity IS NOT sEXUALITY
Wanting to retain an identity of lesbian gay bisexual transgender will change your focus. You and I cannot overcome homosexuality in our own strength this is why we came to Him to allow Him to do the work within our heart.
So let it go, surrender your sexuality to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and take Him as your Lord and Redeemer in that part of your personality. So you can rest that one day your flesh will come in agreement with Jesus to put off the works of darkness (Romans 13:12) and to come out of agreement with the unfruitful works of darkness, and reprove them (Ephesians 5:11).
No longer will you define yourself by sexuality or sexual lusts or sexual preferences or sexual desires or sexual gratification, or any labels we have taken on board or been given. But by the real self, the real image of God and how Jesus defines you restores you, molds you, transforms you, delivers you, and looses you to see the truth of everything that makes up you.
There is no need to demand that you just have to have sexual intimacy, you just have to touch and love some one, you just have to retain the former ways or former self. NO you don't just have to live out of any counterfeit lie or identity that was birthed by sins against you and by the spirits deception and lies they fed you since a toddler. Neither out of your base animal instincts, for we are to take a hold of a supernatural life His life, the anointing breaks the yoke. Get some oil by faith put it on your forehead and allow The Power of The Blood Covenant release and empower you and bring forth His Grace.
Are you happy to remain in the womb of your sin and the deception "once a homosexual always a homosexual?" There is no licence to sin because of memory or because the transformation and restoration is lengthy. NIL!!! Truth is being born again is having our sinful nature brought to death living in the light not in the dark. Growing up in Jesus coming off the milk to become a king and priest. Serving Him in His Temple, forsaking the demand to cling onto a worldly earthly identity reveling in sexual gratification.
THE PLAIN TRUTH IS NONE OF US CAN LIVE ABOVE OUR CARNAL DESIRES UNLESS WE ARE EMPOWERED FROM ON HIGH.
And none of us, no one with same sex attraction can get beyond being enslaved to any sin structure, unless he or she is truly born again. When your born from above you will be thinking like a king acting like a priest, speaking like a spiritual person who has forsaken the base nature and the lusts thereof. You will be walking in The Light as He is in The Light seeking after the eternal not the temporal things.
Take a reality check, you can not stop and camp!!! Grieve your losses move forward roll up your tent or you will be having the same ground hog day this time next year and the year after and screaming at God "why God why?"
His life is the newness of life, a life living in the heavenlies a life of above not below. The carnal that wants gratification and identity apart from God has to die to experience the resurrection heavenly life, the newness of life.
You can do this just reach out take His hand once again and you will be empowered to live the resurrected life. Invite Jesus in to your pain, doubt, fears, bondages and take Him as Lord, Saviour and Redeemer in each hindrance, lack, fear, even what you are willing to retain. For example : - I'm dumb, I'm really gay, I'm lazy, I can't think, my memory is blocked - whatever your I'm or I is ...... Pray a separate prayer of surrender and invite Him to be Saviour and repent of it of course.
