IS IT VAIN TO SERVE GOD?
Malachi 3:14 writes:
“You have said, It is vain to serve God, And, What profit, is it that we have kept His charge, and that we have walked as mourners before Jehovah of hosts?
Sometimes we cry this message “It is vain to serve God, what profit is it to obey His commands when I feel like ......., when this is happening to me” "when I cannot shake these thoughts off" "when the old man/woman surfaces" "when ..............."
But, it is not in vain what you are going through and what you will continue to go through. Wait just wait, understanding will come, wisdom will speak to you and your heart will see the truth, be at peace for He is at work in your heart and He who is for you is not against you.
"Tho weeping endure, joy does cometh in the morning" yes change will come, yes you will get through this and yes you will - Let Him embrace you right here today where you are at in all the good bad and ugly and you will see the salvation of your soul and you will know it is not vain to serve God.
