Woman You Are Called To Be A Witness
The events of the morning of the resurrection were given to be seen by the women disciples only. Mary of Magdalene the first witness to the resurrection, a "loosing" and a given honor to woman of the risen Christ from the grave.
This speaks volumes "woman be thou loosed to do the work of the Kingdom, be thou loosed to proclaim the good tidings (Psalm 68:11; Isaiah 40:9) "be tho loosed from where Satan has bound thee these eighteen years."
The mainstream rabbinical teaching was that "the testimony of one hundred women was not sufficient to refute that of one man" and "but let not the testimony of women be received, because of the frivolity of ther sex." [Bushnell, 2003:85].
Jesus as the One who had and has authority loosed (Matthew 18:18) women from this heresy by choosing a woman by choosing Mary Magdalene to be His first witness of His resurrection. To add two or three witness (Matthew 18:16, John 8:17) Mary Magdalene, Mary mother of James and Joanna were at the sepulcher were the first to witness the angels (Luke 23:55-56, 24:1, 4-10) and they told the disciples that Christ had risen.
I know when I came to Christ Jesus sixteen years ago I was a very broken woman who had been sinned against much for being a female - women could not do this women could not do that women were this and women were that and woman you cannot teach or preach was the first church I attended. But when I found this book in Stanthorpe in a second hand shop Women Men & The Bible the author revealed how women could be Pastors Teachers Leaders and what ever position she was called to by Yahushua - I tell you I could not put the book down.
In my years of study and writing it is undeniable He gave women position and His power to be His witness's unto all the earth "greater works than this she will do, because I go to my Father" Women were emancipated by the Messiah He has highly honored us and it is time for a change of mindsets. For centuries we have been trained to think male, only male disciples only male Apostles only male this male that when we hear and listen to Gospel reading teaching and preaching, but it is time for your renewal of the mind, time to put your heart both to he and she. She to belongs in the gospel where there is mention of he or man or him, she has identity and mention and representation along with the man.
Woman you have a place in the Gospel think feminine with the masculine as you read His Word take your calling when He calls you and He will call you.
