Spiritual Relationship
Will power will not restore us because will power is of the kingdom of self; there is no power other than Jesus' power to restore us from a lifestyle of homosexuality and its fruits. When we abandon our willpower, our independance and give up and surrender we yield to salvation. The Savior and Healer and Deliver of our souls can now save us for we have put ourselves in a perfect place for a no more self-rule because we have surrendered to a God-rule.
A walk of The Spirit is the ultimate goal on the pathway of restoration and with a walk in The Spirit has to come relationship and thats us sharing our every thing with Him. We make Jesus a part of every aspect of our lives and He wants to be involved in our life. I am not saying that our relationship with Him will be like that with another person for He is our God and He will teach us His Character, but I can say in His Holiness He wills to Love us in our humanity and undo all our distorted beliefs about Him and ourselves so we can come deeper into relationship with Him.
Healing takes years, healing the emotions and character change, years of renewal, years of seeking keys of the kingdom to rebuild and repair the broken walls of our lives and years of learning what and how to walk in The Spirit. Healing is and will come forth but it will not come overnight or will it come quickly or will it come all at once. It a process, a walking out, a demolishing of walls and a rebuilding of the walls.
So we have to have intimacy with Him, converse with Him at all times, its the inner heart relationship that is important . Consider the human heart will attach itself with what it believes is important and if that is a five bedroom house a flash car or a ministry name title and rank or a partner or sexual intimacy than thats where the heart will go.
Therefore if we foster relationship with Jesus and The Father and Holy Ghost they get our heart they get the inner heart relationship. And we know only to well that we have come out of a life of emptiness and dissatisfaction because of pursing the earthly and the sensual world. Truth is we were created for a higher life, a spiritual life before a carnal life, we were created for relationship with Father Son and Spirit of the nature of a spiritual life therefore the spiritual comes first, Jesus comes first, relationship with Him has to come first.
Father I come in a more personal way to have relationship with You and Jesus and I come to have deeper fellowship and intimacy with You. I surrender my heart a fresh and new to You today to go deeper into a life of the Spirit a life that I was created for a life of Spiritual intimacy.
